February turned into a busy month in our home, so I'm a bit behind in the THM updates.
We had an out of town visit to family for a four day weekend that was tough for food. Party snacks just are not very Trim Healthy Mama friendly. Both Rob and I did well at skipping the crackers and just eating the cheese and nuts. And I was surprised when we got home that I had not gained any weight over that weekend.
So how are we doing?
We took Rob's blood pressure again last night and it is still on the way down. It is now back in his normal range, which is still higher than normal because of his history of kidney stones. But we are both pleased to see it going in the right direction.
I am almost 31 weeks into this pregnancy and remarkably I am still only at 9lbs total gain for the entire time. This makes me still 1 lb lighter than when I first started the plan 12 weeks ago. The belly is growing very nicely, and the baby is very active, probably my most active baby yet. I know that I am loosing as the baby is growing as my waist is reappearing, my bra size is continuing to travel downwards instead of upwards and I can see the bone structure on my face beginning to reappear. I will definitely be interested to see what my weight is once the baby arrives in May.
I will try to get the chocolates recipes posted this week too. It is certainly fun to take the Trim Healthy Mama principles and experiment in the kitchen with them.
